Livelihood Enhancement for Farm  Families (LEFF) in Port Loko District

The goal of the project is to improve the livelihood of 1,100 beneficiaries (567 women and 533 men) in the Port Loko District of Sierra Leone. The selected beneficiaries of this project are handicapped by limited resources, poor nutrition, high youth unemployment, environmental degradation and low capacities of community structures to lead development initiative. more>>

Kailahun Agricultural and Livelihood Support Project (KALiSP)

The objectives of the Kailahun Agricultural and Livelihood Support Project (KALiSP)  are to increase food production,  generate supplementary income, increase knowledge and skills of beneficiaries in livestock and crop production, enhance leadership and decision making and sensitize beneficiaries on issues relating to HIV/AIDs, Water and Sanitation and the environment. more>>

Integrated Livestock Development Project for Western Rural District (ILDeP)

The Integrated Livestock Development Project (ILDeP) will target 5 villages in the Western Rural district: Regent, Morthaim, Baoma, Makomba and Crossing.  The project seeks to 1) increase food production, 2) improve household nutrition, and 3) generate supplementary income, 4) increase knowledge and skills of beneficiaries in livestock and crop production. These communities are characterized by rapid population growth, high incidence of communicable diseases, increased pressure on natural resources and physical infrastructure.  Heifer Sierra Leone will work with local communities to build leadership skills and sensitize beneficiaries on issues relating to HIV/AIDs, Water, Sanitation and the environment. more>>>
